Charlotte is an experienced food photographer who shoots for clients such as Morrisons, Asda, Weight Watchers, Woman & Home, Woman, Prima, Alpro, Rachel’s Organic and De’Longhi to name but a few.
She specialised in food photography over five years ago whilst living in Sydney. Inspired by the food and photography culture Down Under she realised it combined her two great passions: delicious food and the creation of beautiful imagery.
Her commissions are from magazines, advertising and PR agencies and directly from clients. This work ranges from creative images of prepared recipes to more technical ones of packaging and products. She mainly shoots using daylight or daylight style flash photography.
She has a large and varied collection of props for use on shoots and enjoys taking a hand in sourcing locations and propping shoots herself whenever necessary. Also, she is able to recommend some excellent home economists and food stylists with whom she has previously worked.
Based in North London she undertakes shoots in her studio or on location.
When not shooting for her clients or her blog, she can be found at newly opened restaurants, supper clubs or food related events. Food truly is her healthy obsession.
